:- Rich Dad Poor Dad Summary

Kiyosaki’s own words

My fathers were both wealthy and impoverished. One had a Ph.D. and finished four years of undergraduate study in less than two years. He was highly brilliant and educated. He continued his further studies at Stanford University, the University of Chicago, and Northwestern University while receiving full financial scholarships at each institution. The eighth grade was never completed by the other father.

Having worked hard their entire lives, both men were successful in their occupations. They both had good incomes. One, though, had a lifelong struggle with money. The other would rise to become one of Hawaii’s wealthiest men. One passed away and left his family, charitable organizations, and church tens of millions of cash. The others neglected to pay their bills.

Both men had great strength, charisma, and power. Both men gave me counsel, yet their suggestions were not the same. Although they both had a great commitment to education, neither man advocated the same course of study.

I would have had to decide whether to heed his advise if I had only had one father. Having two father figures to choose from—a rich man’s and a poor man’s—offered me the opportunity to consider opposing points of view.

I discovered that I was thinking more, comparing, and making my own decisions rather than just accepting or rejecting one or the other. Rich Dad Poor Dad Free PDF

The issue was that neither the affluent man nor the poor man were yet in poverty. Both had recently begun their jobs and were having financial and family problems. However, they had extremely dissimilar viewpoints on the topic of money.

It was challenging growing up with two influential father figures. I tried to pay attention and be a good son, but the two fathers did not speak in the same terms. I became inquisitive and intrigued by how drastically their perspectives differed, especially when it came to money. I started to ponder each person’s words for extended lengths of time. I spent a lot of time alone thinking and asking myself things like, “Why does he say that?” and then applying the same thought to the other dad’s statement. Sure, he’s right, would have been much simpler to state. I concur with that. Alternatively, you may simply dismiss the argument by saying, “The old man doesn’t know what he’s talking about.” Having two dads who I loved, though, made me reflect and, in the end, pick a style of thinking for myself. The process of making my own decisions, as opposed to merely adopting or rejecting one particular point of view, proved to be much more beneficial in the long run. Rich Dad Poor Dad Free PDF

Money is a subject that is taught at home rather than at school, which contributes to the fact that the rich become richer, the poor get poorer, and the middle class struggles with debt. The majority of us learn financial skills from our parents. So what financial lessons can a poor parent impart to their child? Simply put, they urge, “Stay in school and work hard.” Although the youngster may have outstanding academics, they will likely graduate with terrible financial programming and mindset. The youngster picked it up while they were little. Poor Dad Rich Dad PDF

In classrooms, money is not a subject. The emphasis in schools is on academic and career skills, but not on financial abilities. This explains why intelligent professionals like bankers, physicians, and accountants who excelled academically may nonetheless experience persistent financial hardship. Our huge national debt is mostly the result of highly educated politicians and government representatives making financial decisions without having received any formal financial training.
